Born on May 22, 1975 in eastern Nigeria, Chike C. Obeagu, a painter and poet, studied art at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he obtained a B.A (1998) and an M.F.A (2003) in painting. He has exhibited widely in reputable art shows in Nigeria and elsewhere.

Obeagu is an experimentalist, and dedicates time towards discovering noveau mediumistic possibilities. He has his works in numerous public and private collections.
